Mestalla brimming with emotions running high
Relive the emotional events that took place in the run-up to Valencia CF-Real Betis to pay tribute to the victims and those affected by the tragic flash floods
Arrival at Valencia CF
I’m happy to be here, it’s a massive club. This is a big chance for me and this season I will do my best. I came here to work hard and I hope it can be a good season for myself and for the team.
I’m proud to play for Valencia CF. It’s an amazing club, especially being from Ukraine I’m proud to be here today.
The fanbase and Mestalla
I know the fans are unbelievable and that there is an unbelievable atmosphere in the stadium. They always put high pressure on the opponent. I’m just proud to be here and I will put in a lot of work to be successful.
Contribution on the pitch
I am a hard worker. I always want to improve. My job is to score goals and I hope to do that here and be successful.
Baraja and the team
It’s very important to feel each other. First meeting is always important to get to know each other better.
Squad number
I already had this number (17) in Belgium, at Genk, I scored some important goals with this number so I think it’s going to be something good.
Ukraine
It’s a difficult time for my country but I want to say that I come here to play football, but I’m always thinking of my country and I try to help in different ways and I hope we get that support also from people from Valencia.
